About Ettinger Law Firm and The Lifetime Estate Planning Process™

Since 1991, Ettinger Law Firm has been exclusively engaged in estate planning and elder law. In that time, the law firm has prepared thousands of estate plans.

Ettinger Law Firm endeavors to hire only the most qualified and capable staff and maintains first class offices using the latest in computer technology and office equipment systems. The firm constantly invests in maintaining and upgrading its technological capabilities.

In 1999, Ettinger Law Firm obtained trademark protection for their unique process — The Lifetime Estate Planning Process™. The firm’s planning philosophy is that, given the pace of change in our modern world, an estate plan created today is of little value unless it is monitored to make certain that at the time you may need to use it, it addresses your then current legal, financial and personal circumstances. One of the main features of The Lifetime Estate Planning Process is the firm’s customized estate planning tracking system which tracks each client’s estate plan from date of inception, based on the type of plan used and the amount of assets initially involved, so that in the event of a law change the client can be notified that their plan needs to be updated. Additionally, each client is invited to come in to review their plan every three years so that the estate plan will reflect any changes in the client’s personal affairs, such as a change in health, assets and marital status of the client or their beneficiaries. These review services are delivered to the client free of charge, unless and until a change to their plan actually needs to be made.

Additional features and benefits of our unique process are (1) free weekly Elder Elert (2) invitations to our client appreciation breakfast, where we review events in the law as well as in the life of the firm (3) free computer monitoring of your plan for law changes, and (4) first offerings of new planning techniques and strategies, some of which have been pioneered by the law firm itself, such as The Inheritance Trust, to protect a child’s inheritance from divorce and creditors and to pass it to grandchildren upon the child’s death (instead of to in-laws).
